Fitness to Practice/Disability

Every health professional is subject to investigation and assessment of their fitness to practice their profession if they suffer from a mental or physical disability that might affect their ability to deliver safe patient care. Each licensing body has the legal power to suspend a licence on the recommendation of their College’s Fitness to Practice committee.

TTL Health Law has represented all health care professionals involved in Fitness to Practice proceedings and ensures the process accords with the individual’s human rights, accommodation protections and the lawyers at the firm safeguard the individual’s continued right to practice.
